Walk-a-thon

Wow! We are off to a great start! Room 6 is leading the school in total donations so far! That means everyone is racing to beat us so keep collecting those donations! Here are some reasons why you should participate in the walk-a-thon! 

- The money raised goes directly back to the students in the form of:

• New technology (1st grade needs 1 more set of iPads and then all students will have an iPad at school!) 

• Clubs (teachers are trying to start clubs for students - from running club to a technology club, and more!)

• Makerspace (We are raising money to convert our computer lab into a room where students have the materials to create, build, and explore!)

• Meet the Masters (With enough funds, we hope to continue this art program which our students loved in past years) 

- The more money a class collects, the better chance to win a Smartboard for the classroom! (I have so many ideas and lessons prepared, this prize would enhance our classroom tremendously!)

- Student who participate  will receive a tag to hang on their class keychains. (Remember, all it takes to participate is bringing your envelop and asking Ms. Bermudez to donate)

- Students who raise $35+ get an adorable Olympics-themed t-shirt. 

- NEW INCENTIVE!! Students who raise $60+  will get a pizza party lunch with Ms. Bermudez! (It is our school's goal for each child to earn $60+)

- The entire class can earn a class Olympics Extravaganza for earning $500

- The entire class can also earn a Popcorn and Movie Party for earning $1,000! We can do it Room 6!!

Wow! That's a lot of great reasons to participate! I hope we have lots of students attending my pizza party! Thanks for doing an awesome job, Room 6! Keep up the good work!
